| Jack & Jill are Sun Conures |
| |
| (age unknown) |
| |
| Jack and Jill were named by
us because ??? One would come tumbling after..... and
you could not separate the two....We were at our local
flea market one weekend, just browsing around the two
bird stores that are there and to pick up a couple of
toys. |
| |
| All of a sudden (literally)
there is a bird on Dee's shoulder. |
| |
| Dee thought nothing of it and
was quite enjoying it... next thing we know there is
another bird climbing up her leg... We both thought,
"how cute" & how soo soo sweet. |
| |
| We then started talking to the
store owner. he was trying very
hard to sell them as individual birds at top
dollar to line his pocket. |
| |
| Even a blind person could tell that the two birds
had a very close bond to each other and loved each
other. To separate the two would be like taking a
brother away from a sister. |
| |
| We did not say anything to the owner and put the two
birds to the test. Wherever we put or went with one on
them, the other was right behind and flew to his / her
buddy. It was very obvious they
"loved each other and should not be separated" |
| |
| Talking to and trying to haggle with the owner about
morals was a waste of time and achieved nothing. |
| |
| All he wanted was a nice fat wallet when he went
home. We both looked at each other
and bought them just to stop him from separating them. |
| |
| Well... |
| |
| You might think that he got what he wanted and in
some ways he did. His wallet was nice and fat on
that day when he went home, but jack & Jill said "thank
you". |
| |
| Jack and Jill were adopted by Melanie, family and
flock. |
| |
| They are still and will remain "together forever". |
