| Paradise is a Hans Macaw |
| |
| that came to us from Longwoood (FL). |
| |
| Her previous owner bought her from an elderly lady, whos
husband had recently passed away. |
| |
| At this time"Parasdise" was 10 years old and set in her
ways. |
| |
| An ad was placed in the local paper and Paradise was
available for $xxx.xx |
| |
| She looked so cute, as if butter would not mealt in her
mouth. |
| |
| "Wow". A Minature version of a Macaw that can talk and
do tricks" Just like the bigger Macaws , but without the
hassel and headakes that come with the big guys. |
| |
| How cool is that. She is so small. She will cost
next to nothing to feed. She will need very little
interaction and she will entertain us all for hours and make
a perfect pet. |
| |
| This family that bought her, actualy
believed the above to be true. |
| |
| All was well for the first couple of weeks. She was a
novelty, shown plenty of attention and she did perform, just
as she had for her owner of 10 years. |
| |
| Shortly after this. Paradise became just another
orniment as so many birds do. |
| |
|
| |
| The novelty had worn off and Paradise was on her own. |
| |
| She would shreek and scream just like a child that
is in desperate need of attention. |
| |
| For a small bird. She sure could make a lot of noise and
disrupt the whole household. |
| |
| .....The above is a true statement from
the family..... |
| |
|
| |
| Another ad is placed in the paper and
Paradise is up for grabs again. |
| |
| We see the add, respond to it asking a lot of questions
and get very few answers, so we decide to go and check out
"Paradise". |
| |
| We drive for two hours and arive at a nice home |
